Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Introduction to Agra

Upon arrival in Agra, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After some relaxation, the sightseeing begins with a visit to the magnificent Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Explore its grand palaces, courtyards, and halls while enjoying beautiful views of the Taj Mahal from within the fort. In the evening, visit Mehtab Bagh, a riverside garden offering a serene sunset view of the Taj Mahal. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Taj Mahal & Local Heritage Tour

Start your day early with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, where the soft morning light enhances the beauty of this world-famous monument. Learn about its history, marble craftsmanship, and love story behind its creation. After breakfast, continue to Itmad-ud-Daula, also known as the Baby Taj, admired for its intricate marble inlay work. Later, explore Agra’s bustling local markets such as Sadar Bazaar and Kinari Bazaar, where you can shop for handicrafts, marble souvenirs, and leather goods. The evening is free for leisure or cultural exploration.

Day 3: Fatehpur Sikri Excursion

On the third day, take a scenic drive to Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital of the Mughal Empire and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore architectural masterpieces like Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal, and the Tomb of Salim Chishti. The city’s well-preserved structures tell stories of Mughal ambition and artistry. After returning to Agra, you can relax or enjoy a local dining experience, sampling traditional Mughlai cuisine.

Day 4: Sikandra & Spiritual Agra

Begin the day with a visit to Sikandra, the tomb of Emperor Akbar, set amidst beautiful gardens and showcasing a blend of Islamic, Hindu, and Persian architectural styles. Later, visit important spiritual sites in Agra, including the ancient Mankameshwar Temple and the peaceful Dayal Bagh Temple, known for its ongoing marble construction. Day 5: City Tour & Departure

On the final day, explore Agra’s local life with visits to Jama Masjid and nearby heritage areas. Enjoy some leisure time for last-minute shopping or photography.
